Mi bangs.

As you all know, I've had bangs for about a decade. (Wait...WHAT?) If you do my maths right, that's about it. Not quite, but that's where you round it up.

I love bangs. Not having bangs does not suit me, and bangs are versatile. There are so many ways you can cut them and they always give you a different look.

Brilliant.

My bangs had gotten a bit long by the end of last year and I hadn't been to a hairdresser's in at least six months, so I thought it was about time to do it when we came to Finland for the holidays.

Didn't do it.
Too expensive and just didn't get round to it.

Well. We came back to London. V cut his hair (he always cuts his own and why not. he does a great job, with a little help from yours truly...) and I thought....He could cut my bangs too! I mean, how hard can it be? Just cut straight bangs. Simple.

So he did it. I got straight bangs.

And I wasn't happy. They were too short. Didn't like them. I swore that I'd go to a professional for my next haircut.

But then I noticed... The bangs looked good. Really good. I liked them.

And I still do.

So the lesson of the day is, home-cut can have good results and when it comes to hair - it's not a bad thing to wait a few days to see your hair actually turns out.

He'll be cutting my bangs the next time and possibly even tidy up the ends.

What a great way to save money! Why spend 40€ on something that I can get for free?

Exactly.

How cute! Hairdressers are so expensive that it's totally not everyday fun. But you lucky girl have your own V :) Can we have any picture of your new haircut?
