Things don't always go according to plan.

The (fancy) hotel at/of King's Cross and St. Pancras.

Regent's Park.

The plan was that we'd go shopping today.
On what budget, you ask?
Well, the thing is that V has not received a Christmas present from me, AND his birthday is just around the corner...
So, this has been in the budget for a couple of months now.

But, this didn't happen.
Now, don't be sorry. This is only a good thing.
Shopping in London on a Saturday is crazy. Everything is FULL of people. FULL.
But had someone not stayed up late and wanted to sleep long {hint, not me - I was ready to go}, this is what we had done.

Instead, we decided upon Regent's Park.
We took minor detour into the British Library, though.
As the sun was shining, it was so nice to enjoy the gorgeous park {I must go and see the roses there in the Summer. I know. That job last Summer...It changed me.}, and
get our clothes dirty.
{I say 'our', but it was actually only me..}
'Twas a good day.
And for dinner we have roast chicken.
Mmmm.

PS. There's Tottenham Hotspurs vs. Newcastle United game going on now. And I can hear the chanting from the stadium/local pubs in my room.

Spontaneous moments are maybe those moments we will always remember :)

That could be very true, Anu. Very true.
